Music creation as a sustainable profession

Music is a universal language that unites people all around the world. Every day thousands of songs are written by talented creators, but as digital music distribution increases so does the demand for music creators to be able to manage and control the rights to their music.

Music Rights Awareness is an apolitical foundation that works to increase knowledge of music rights worldwide. Our mission is to, through education and support, help music creators to take control of their rights and be able to live on their music – regardless of economical, geographical and cultural conditions. Our goal is for all music creators to be fairly compensated for the music they share with the world.

Music Rights Awareness was founded by songwriters Niclas Molinder, Max Martin and Björn Ulvaeus in Stockholm 2016.
